Equatore - LED table lamp in copper, 42.5 cm

Italian design: Equatore as a new interpretation of the table lampOn the outside, the Equatore model is a rather classic glass table lamp, but if you look inside and take a look at how it works, you quickly realise that the classic has been reinterpreted with Equatore. While the light source is usually located inside the shade or diffuser, this is not the case with Equatore. The light source, i.e. the LEDs, are located in the disc that closes the shade at the bottom. This luminous disc emits light upwards into the shade on the one hand and downwards onto the table on the other. Thus, the luminous LED disc can be called the "equator" of this table lamp. Hence the apt name of this designer lamp, which was designed by the Italians Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. The two architects live and work in Milan and oversee projects ranging from building architecture and landscape design to the design of furniture and other furnishings, such as luminaires. For the luminaire manufacturer Fontana Arte, they have designed the Equatore luminaire series. - dimmer included
