FLOS outdoor wall lamp In Vitro Wall by designer Philippe Starck


High quality and robust is this LED outdoor wall lamp from the series In Vitro. French designer Philippe Starck, who has already designed many classic lamps for the Italian design lighting manufacturer FLOS, has once again focused on the simplicity that is inherent in so many of his designs: no unnecessary flourishes or details, pure beauty and functionality.

The body of the lamp of In Vitro is made of die-cast and extruded aluminum, which has been powder coated. Furthermore, clear borosilicate glass was used. The LEDs are located behind an opal diffuser in the upper part of the luminaire, so that the light is mainly diffused downwards. This allows areas around the house as well as the entrance area to be illuminated.

The FLOS company began developing and producing designer lighting in the 1960s. The company's products and its designers have been awarded several times with the most important Italian industrial design award Compasso d'Oro. The Red Dot Design Award is also one of the awards FLOS has received for its products
