Foscarini LED pendant lamp Aplomb large - wide diffusion lamp in hand cast concrete


The material used for the shade of the LED pendant lamp Aplomb large is rather unusual. Concrete, which is normally heavy and rough, is used here for an elegant, light-looking luminaire. This is made possible by the elaborate manufacturing process. Aplomb is manufactured with craftsmanship by Italian experts in cement processing. The greatest challenge here is to create a low material thickness. This is made possible by a special mixture that remains particularly fluid during the casting process and can thus be carefully cast into shape. The added colour pigments cover up the natural grey of the material without changing the feel and roughness.

Thanks to the built-in LED technology, the pendant lamp Aplomb large shines with a warm white light directly downwards. Due to the rather wide diffusion of the light, the Aplomb luminaire is suitable for lighting dining tables, counters or a kitchen island. It can also be used in the gastronomic sector, where it impresses with a mixture of industrial charm and modern sophistication.
