Wall lamp Double made of mouth-blown glassThe wall lamp Double convinces with its curved, discreet design with which it can be used flexibly throughout the living area. The diffuser is made of mouth-blown glass and encloses the two internal bulb sockets. In the center, it features a curved, curvilinear indentation that gives the fixture a dynamic look. The diffuser is also equipped with a glossy surface that plays with reflections and further emphasizes the curved shape. The inside of the wall lamp is designed in white, which makes it particularly well reflect the light of the light sources to be used. The two ends of the glass shade are designed open, whereby the light shines to the floor and towards the ceiling and is radiated through the diffuser glare-free to the environment.Double can already be found since 1996 in the range of the renowned lighting manufacturer Foscarini and is today one of the absolute classics of the Italian company. The wall lamp was designed by designer and architect Valerio Bottin. He began his career designing residential and industrial buildings. Since 1993, he has collaborated with Foscarini in the lighting industry. Together with the University of Padua, he researches innovative ideas for the lighting sector.
