Delicate wall lamp Rituals 1 with metal wall bracket

The form and structure of the Rituals wall lamp is reminiscent of an oriental lantern made of fine rice paper. This delicate look is created by a filigree pattern of irregularly arranged lines that extend across the entire lampshade. The shade is made of mouth-blown glass and gets its delicate structure from a special mould with negative decorations. The result is an elegant glass shade which, in combination with light, enchants the observer with an incomparable play of light and shadow.

In contrast to the delicate glass, the right-angled wall bracket appears almost static, thus creating an interesting contrast. The bracket also offers two mounting options: on the one hand, the luminaire can be directed downwards like a lantern or upwards so that it looks as if it is floating freely.

Rituals 1 is part of a whole series of lamps and is carefully handcrafted in the factory of the Venetian manufacturer Foscarini. The design itself is the work of Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, who have already designed several iconic lamps for Foscarini.
