If you look at the Rituals 3 wall lamp from the Venetian manufacturer Foscarini, you might think it is a paper lantern in which a candle provides a warm glow. This effect is created by a structure of irregularly arranged grooves that extend across the mouth-blown glass of the lampshade. This pattern makes the lamp seem as delicate as rice paper and also fascinates the observer with a play of light and shadow.
