Mouth-blown five-layer glass - Buds 2 table lamp The impressive Buds 2 table lamp is a special designer piece that was created by the Italian designer Rodolfo Dordoni for Foscarini back in the 1990s. Today, reworked and reinterpreted in line with current trends, the Buds series is impressive across the board. The outstanding feature is the special glass and the resulting diffuse lighting effect. When switched off, the bulbous glass diffuser appears cool. The shiny five-layer glass is produced using the so-called Incamiciato technique, where frosted glass is overlaid with a layer of coloured, transparent glass. In the Buds 2 design light, there are a total of five hand-blown layers, which are also beautifully visible as a cross-section at the opening of the lampshade. When the light is switched on, the Foscarini Buds 2 table lamp emits a pleasantly warm glow thanks to the different coloured layers, and the coolness has completely disappeared. This special feature makes this designer light a unique object that not only provides diffuse light, but can also be skilfully placed as an elegant and stylish design object in any living space.
