Ideal task light for the desk: matt lacquered Kaiser idell™ table lamp.


A true design icon of the Bauhaus style is the Kaiser idell™ table lamp: It was designed in 1931 by Christian Dell (1893-1974) as part of a lighting series that includes table, floor, pendant and wall lamps and combines the characteristic basic shapes of modernism - cylinder, circle and sphere.

The Kaiser idell™ table lamp is made of matt lacquered steel, the shade is asymmetrically designed and the arm can be swivelled 15 degrees to either side. This allows an individual alignment of the lighting, as it is useful for example on the desk for concentrated work.

The Kaiser idell™ lamp series is produced by the Danish company FRITZ HANSEN. The name FRITZ HANSEN has stood for outstanding products and designs for almost 150 years.
