Made of walnut veneer by hand: Ceiling lamp Veneria


Veneria is a ceiling lamp that can also be mounted on the wall as a light source. This opens up countless possibilities for use as the main light source or as an additional light source. The spiral shape is inspired by nature, where the spiral arrangements of the Fibonacci sequence can also be seen everywhere. The wood veneer shows a subtle basic structure, it is similar to the wood of walnut and looks extremely elegant. Wide wooden slats alternate here with narrower slats, thus creating a decorative light-and-shadow effect. The socket for the bulb is placed inside and surrounded by a body of transparent Plexiglas. The light emitted by the bulb used illuminates the wood veneer from the inside and is directed outward along the slats. This also skillfully highlights the grain.

The noble Veneria comes from a small manufactory in Cologne, which was founded by Manuel Döpper in 2019. The lamps of Gofurnit are made of naturally grown woods and have their very own lively grain, making each piece unique. Only the best pieces are used in the selection of the veneer. The lights are shipped in sustainable packaging to conserve resources.
