Designer floor lamp AJ - adjustable light direction The AJ floor lamp is now a design classic, having been created by the Danish architect and designer Arn Jacobsen back in 1957. Jacobsen developed the luminaire series named after its creative creator as part of his overall concept for the SAS Royal (Radisson) Hotel in Copenhagen. Some elements of this hotel interior have become true design icons, including the purist floor lamp AJ. The viewer's focus is drawn to the lampshade, which is designed as a cone in the lower section and as a cylinder in the upper section, forming the light emitted in a natural way. The orientation of the lampshade can be adjusted so that the light is directed in the desired direction. Innes, the lampshade is coated in white to ensure Ideal Reflexion and efficient light distribution. The AJ floor lamp is a product of the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen, which has been presenting light in its most beautiful form since it was founded in 1874. Louis Poulsen is a pioneer of Scandinavian design and offers lights based on the principle of "form follows function".
