Verner Panton's Panthella 320 table lamp with shiny brass finish


The Panthella lamp series is one of the classic series that the Danish company Louis Poulsen produces and sells. The Danish designer and architect Verner Panton (1926-1998) designed Panthella at the beginning of the 1970s. On certain occasions and anniversaries, new versions of the lamp are released from time to time. The company honours the 50th birthday of the lamp with a new colour variant, namely with the brass version.

In this version, the shade made of deep-drawn steel and the base made of aluminium have been covered with a special coating, which results in a shiny, metallised finish in brass. This makes the table lamp look as if it were made of one piece.

The hemispherical shade is opaque and white on the inside, so that the light is completely reflected downwards. From there, part of the light is reflected into the room and upwards thanks to the base. Includes intermediate cord switch.
