Verner Panton's Panthella: Table lamp with timeless design


Verner Panton designed this lamp in the 1970s. The designer and architect was enthusiastic about shapes and colours. His mentors Poul Henningsen and Arne Jacobsen as well as the maxim of functionalism had a great influence on him.

The hemispherical shade of the Panthella 320 table lamp consists of deep-drawn steel, the trumpet-shaped base of aluminium. All parts have been chrome-plated, so that the lamp appears to be cast from one piece. Since the shade is opaque and white on the inside, the light is completely reflected directly downwards. From there, part of the light is reflected into the room and upwards thanks to the base. Includes an intermediate cord switch.
