Product description

Timeless pendant lamp Toldbod 250 by Louis PoulsenToldbod 250 is straightforward and comes without many details, resulting in a high flexibility. Thus, it makes a dining table shine or becomes an absolute eye-catcher in the room in a group installation at different heights. The lamp consists of a shapely shade made of aluminum, which was painted matt. The inside of the shade is white and acts as a kind of reflector, which ensures a glare-free and even distribution of light. It is precisely this feature that underlines the mission of the brand manufacturer Louis Poulsen, namely to give shape to the light and illuminate a space without shining directly into people's eyes. The idea for Toldbod and the reflective interior is based on PH Eclipse, the last street lighting concept by Poul Henningsen. Henningsen was a Danish architect, writer and above all luminaire designer who collaborated with Louis Poulsen from 1925 until his death.
