Spherical VL Studio table lamp made of aluminium and opal glass with dimmer function The VL Studio table lamp has a spherical design and is made of deep-drawn aluminium and three-layer opal glass. With its timeless black and white colour scheme, the light can be easily integrated into different living areas and interiors. For example, it can be used in the living room or bedroom and can also be placed on the floor. The opal glass ensures that the light is emitted glare-free into the surroundings. By using a dimmable bulb, it is possible to vary the brightness using the integrated dimmer switch. The table lamp was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen and was originally created in 1974 for the radio building in Copenhagen. Even back then, the VL Studio lighting collection impressed with its understated design and high-quality materials. The lights are still very popular today. The Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen is responsible for production.
