Product description

Designer pendant light Alien M in an unusual design language A kind of tentacle nestles gently around the textile cable hanging from the ceiling and ends in a bulbous, white body at the lower end of the cable. Like the narrow extension towards the Deck, this rounded body is made of high-quality white polyethylene and is therefore translucent. The translucency is a decisive feature, as this white plastic body serves as a lampshade or diffuser. Completely glare-free and softly diffused light is provided by the pendant light called Alien - a fitting name for such an alien structure that can hardly be described using conventional terminology. The Alien luminaire series was designed by Munich-based designer Constantine Wortmann, who has also worked for Ingo Maurer. Wortmann is now one of the designers who work exclusively for next lighting, a Cologne-based lighting manufacturer. The exclusive lights from next are manufactured exclusively in Germany.
