Table lamp PH 4 1/2 - 3 1/2 - Classic in elegant chrome finish

The table lamp PH 4 1/2 - 3 1/2 gets its pleasant lighting effect from its indirect radiation, which is achieved with the clever, characteristic shade construction of the series. It consists of an upper, discreetly downward curved layer, followed by a dome-shaped and an almost cylindrical layer below. These completely conceal the light source to be inserted. The mouth-blown opal glass is matt on the inside and shiny on the outside, so that the light is refracted through the material and partly reflected between the layers.

The metal frame is completely covered with a layer of chrome. Three narrow, grooved sections under and on the screen break through the otherwise smooth, shiny finish. The base is equipped with the on/off switch.

PH is a milestone in the 42-year-long cooperation between the Danish designer, architect, journalist, author and critic Poul Henningsen and the lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen, which was founded in 1874. Even though the PH series was created in 1925/26, the design is still contemporary today and can be ideally combined with a modern furnishing style in private homes or prestigious public areas.
