Elna - German-made pendant light with dimmable LEDs The two-layered look, consisting of a wooden and an aluminium beam, is the hallmark of the Elna LED pendant light. With the unusual combination of two materials that are actually opposites, the light proves that wood and metal can form a stylish symbiosis despite their numerous differences in appearance and texture. The aluminium tube with a matt nickel finish forms the lower part of the body of the luminaire and houses a high-quality LED trunking light that has been recessed into the metal body. The warm white light shines outwards evenly and glare-free to illuminate the dining table, above which Elna is preferably positioned, in the best possible way. To give the LED pendant light its unmistakable character, a beam of Massive oak wood was attached to the aluminium tube. The wood was crafted by hand and is characterised by its distinctive oak grain. Due to the combination of materials, Elna is not limited to a specific style. Of course, such an innovatively designed light source must not lack the corresponding technical advantages. In order to meet as many different requirements as possible, Elna is equipped with both a height adjustment mechanism and dimmable LEDs. The height adjustment mechanism is very easy to operate in two simple steps. The metal cylinders, which are attached to the steel cables, can be used to move the body of the luminaire up or down. For dimmability, a trailing edge dimmer or leading edge dimmer is required, which is connected to the light via the house installation. This enables Elna to continuously adjust the lighting conditions in the living room. The outstanding CRI (colour rendering index) of the LEDs, which reaches a value of over 90, completes the list of technical advantages of this pendant light.
