Hanging light Carmina with an extraordinary lampshade design


This hanging light has a lampshade that is made of polypropylene and polycarbonate and is unbreakable. The peaceful lines of its design can be seen as a homage to the undulating dune landscape on Denmark's coast. Carmina enhances any natural ambience with its minimalist Nordic design and its soft, cosy light.

The Carmina hanging light was created in a collaboration between the two designers Søren Ravn Christensen - the creative developer and co-founder of the Danish lighting company Vita Copenhagen - and Anders Klem, who completed his studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts/Design School in 2013 and is passionately dedicated to the development of modern lights.

UMAGE has set itself the goal of continuing to develop the story of Scandinavian design. In its designs, the company combines aesthetics, simplicity and functionality, and it rounds off the whole thing with careful craftsmanship and environmental friendliness. The result is extraordinary designs with a sustainable approach.
