Outdoor light Empty 4135/4136 combines functionality and architectural design Whether in a garden, on a terrace or by the side of a path - the Empty outdoor light sets the scene for its surroundings. It is made of robust polymer concrete that can withstand any climate and also protects the attached LED strips from the weather. The upper surface of the light can bear a maximum load of 150kg and its dimensions make it suitable for use as a seat or storage surface. The light is not only intended for illumination, but also combines the functionality of a piece of furniture with that of a Lamp, true to the concept of "Furniture meets Light". The idea for the concept came from the Spanish manufacturer VIBIA, who engaged the designer Xuclà to design Empty. The designer has been working with Vibia for many years and is characterised by architectural and minimalist creations. With Empty, he created a lighting concept that sets the scene for natural or urban environments by day and by night and was honoured with the Best of Year Award in 2015.
