Product description

Original 1227 LED floor lamp: a mobile source of light for living and working areas In 2012, the Anglepoise® range of luminaires was expanded with this floor lamp, which resembles an Anglepoise® table lamp at the top. The difference is that the flexible part of the light with the articulated arm with constant spring mechanism has been supplemented by a straight lamp frame, making it look more like a conventional floor lamp. However, this is only the case visually; in functional terms, the Anglepoise® retains its great flexibility and balance. The original Anglepoise® design was created by the English industrial designer George Carwardine, who transferred his knowledge of car design, where he was responsible for developing shock absorbers, to the development of a work lamp in 1930. The Anglepoise® work light was fitted with special springs that mimicked the movement of a human arm - fitted with an E27 socket - bulb included - The bulb weight should be between 25 and 60 g so as not to jeopardise the Balance.
