Anglepoise Type 80 table lamp, pistachio green

Modern interpretation of a classic: Type 80 table lamp from Anglepoise The Type 80 desk lamp is one of the more recent creations by designer Sirene Kenneth Grange; it dates back to 2019. Grange has been head designer at Anglepoise, a lighting manufacturer known for its functional designer lights, especially technically sophisticated desk lamps, since 2003. While some of the manufacturer's classics have been in production for over 80 years and have not changed in terms of their design and functionality, Type 80 is a modern interpretation of the tried and tested classics. As with the classics, this modern Anglepoise model is all about maximum flexibility and stability at the same time. The two joints of Type 80 allow the light cone to be adjusted to the desired position so that you can work at your desk or read in bed. The special extra of this light, which is otherwise designed for simplicity, is the thin all-round light outlet in the lampshade, which, in addition to focussed lighting, also creates a slight ambient lighting effect and thus a cosy ambience. The on/off switch is located on the head of the lamp.
