It provides direct light downwards towards the work surface, which can be dimmed and also changed to white light using the easy-to-operate touch panel on the light. At the same time, the light also shines upwards, creating indirect room lighting in addition to targeted ambient lighting. This can also be dimmed separately via the panel and the light colour can be adjusted. The integrated daylight sensor ensures that the light switches on automatically when it gets dark and adjusts the brightness depending on the ambient light, while a motion detector ensures that the light switches on when there is activity and switches off after 30 minutes of inactivity.
