Bright Cadmo LED floor lamp with direct and indirect light


The Cadmo LED floor lamp was designed by Karim Rashid in 2013. The column-like body is open on one side and varies in openness and width along its entire height. A GU10 LED bulb is located in the opening at the top, while LEDs are installed in the rest of the body. While the GU10 bulb emits a very directional light upwards, the LEDs in the body are more responsible for diffused light. The LEDs in the body are dimmable via the integrated dimmer, but not the GU10 light source shining upwards.

American designer Karim Rashid is one of the most prolific and successful designers of his generation: he has over 300 designs that have already been produced and more than 300 awards to his name. He is active in over 35 countries worldwide and has also designed several series of designer lights for the Italian designer light manufacturer Artemide. Rashid won the IF Product Design Award and the Chicago Athenaeum's Good Design Award for his Cadmo floor lamp.
