Designer table lamp Castore in white with mouth blown glass


Castore is a table lamp from the eponymous lamp series, which is thanks to simple, timeless design versatile combinable and at the same time by its characteristic combination of slender frame and all-round radiating spherical shade catches the eye. The latter consists of mouth-blown opal glass and causes a very pleasant, diffuse light radiation in all directions. It is supported by a rod made of plastic. The base made of the metal alloy Zamak gives the lamp a solid stand.

The Italian manufacturer Artemide is responsible for the perfect execution of the Castore table lamp. Huub Ubbens, who headed the company's design department for seven years, designed the Castore lamp series in collaboration with Michele De Lucchi.
