Dimmable designer table lamp Castore in white with mouth blown glass


The all-round shining Castore is a timeless, versatile combinable furnishing element, which nevertheless captivates with a special charm. This is due to the spherical shade made of mouth-blown opal glass, which produces a diffuse, soft and homogeneous light emission on all sides - perfect as additional lighting in the living room or in prestigious public areas. The brightness can be additionally regulated with the touch dimmer at the base. The shade is supported by a slim frame rod made of plastic. The base is a round disc made of the metal alloy Zamak.

Huub Ubbens and Michele De Lucchi are responsible for the design of the Castore series. For seven years, Ubbens headed the design department of the Italian manufacturer Artemide, which produces table lamps of excellent quality.
