Handblown glass sphere: Dioscuri table lamp


The handblown, etched glass of the Dioscuri table lamp makes it a light source for very atmospheric accent lighting. On the one hand, it is the material itself that is responsible for the light of light bulb being perfectly dimmed; on the other hand, the shape of the body ensures that the light is perfectly dimmed all around.

The Italian architect and designer Michele De Lucchi is responsible for the design of Dioscuri. He has already designed the well-known Tolomeo series of lights for the designer lighting manufacturer Artemide. Artemide stands for design made in Italy more than any other brand. The manufacturer has won a number of prizes and awards for its designs and innovations in recent decades.
