Discovery LED floor lamp - top-designed light source from Artemide - controllable via App Unusual in appearance, powerful in lighting - this is how the Discovery LED floor lamp, created by Ernesto Gismondi, presents itself. Its vertical lampshade has a rectangular design and is framed by a narrow aluminium frame in which the innovative Edgelight lighting technology has been installed, i.e. the LEDs are installed all around the frame and flood the diffuser with bright light. This creates both direct and indirect light emission, which creates a cosy ambience. The free downloadable App from the manufacturer Artemide can be used for this floor lamp. It is available for both Android and iOS and works via Bluetooth. This allows both the light colour and brightness to be adjusted from the couch, for example. Ernesto Gismondi (1931-2020), the co-founder of the Artemide company, created the Discovery luminaire series, which also includes pendant and wall lights, and once again tangibly implemented the philosophy of "The Human Light".
