Discovery Rectangular designer pendant light with effective edgelight technology The Discovery Rectangular LED pendant light is the ideal choice for fascinating lighting conditions in large living rooms, meeting rooms and offices. When unlit, the hanging light with its rectangular plastic lampshade surrounded by an aluminium frame is barely visible; when lit, it becomes an absolute eye-catcher in the interior and provides cosy illumination of the surroundings in a special way. The LED light sources are built into the frame, so the lampshade is flooded with light from the sides and then emits it into the room. The manufacturer Artemide provides a free App for Android and iOS for Discovery Rectangular. Via Bluetooth, the light can be controlled using this App. Ernesto Gismondi (1931-2020), the creative mind behind the Discovery light series, received numerous awards for his light designs. The co-founder of the company, which has existed since 1960, led the Artemide Group to worldwide fame and was honoured for his career achievements with the Compasso d'Oro in 1994 and the European Design Award in 1997.
