In the Gople series, the focus is on the glass shade, which emits light in all directions and becomes a special eye-catcher in the room thanks to its aesthetic colour gradient. This look is created by using a traditional Venetian craftsmanship technique that uses both coloured glass and crystal glass. The clear form emphasises the modernity of this light source, which can be combined with many contemporary furnishing styles. The creative design comes from BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), a collaboration of designers and architects with studios in Copenhagen and New York. In their work, they utilise technical innovations and attach great importance to implementing their ideas in a cost- and resource-efficient manner. Their projects include the Danish Maritime Museum (2013), 8-Haus (2010) and the Copenhagen Harbour Baths. The Artemide Group began in 1960 with the founding of Artemide by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mite.
