Gople LED pendant light with patented RWB lighting technology
The stylish Gople pendant light is an attractive designer light which impresses with its details. The lampshade, which is made of handblown glass, is produced in a traditional Venetian method and shows an individual, white colour gradient in the glass, which becomes increasingly transparent towards the bottom. The design is completed by a simple aluminium suspension system. Inside the lampshade is the patented LED RWB lighting technology, which produces an optimum ambience for people and helps plants to grow. With this lighting technology, which was patented in 2011, the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide has made progress in the area of lighting that is beneficial for people and the environment.
The RWB lighting is calibrated to the values which are necessary for plants in two phases. The vegetative phase is accompanied by blue light and the flowering phase by red light. It combines the direct and controlled RWB light with the white light, which can be controlled separately and is emitted indirectly.
Artemide was founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and is famous throughout the world for its internal research and development. Gople was designed by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group – which received the Interior Design Best-of-Year-Award 2018 for Gople.
