App-compatible Ilio LED floor lamp with dimmer What immediately catches the eye with the LED floor lamp is its purist form. The aluminium body of the luminaire, which is practically just a narrow cylinder, is simple and yet so striking. The light source is located at the upper end, giving Ilio a lighting effect like an uplighter. Thanks to the relatively strong light output, this floor lamp can certainly provide indirect general lighting for a room. The light output can be regulated using the integrated microswitch dimmer. This version of the Ilio LED floor lamp is also compatible with the Artemide App. Ernesto Gismondi, the designer of Ilio, founded the designer light manufacturer Artemide, which is now considered a world leader in its field, in 1960. The company's headquarters are located near Milan. The company has five production facilities, two glass factories and a research and innovation centre with test laboratories, as well as a global distribution network.
