Designer floor lamp La Petite - minimalist design with optical illusion


Visually clear elements, exquisitely combined into an amazing geometric composition - this is the designer floor lamp La Petite by the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide. It gives the impression that the lampshade magically floats on the frame. The archetypal lampshade in the shape of a truncated cone is attached to the side of the frame, which is inclined in the upper area.

The design of the lamp series comes from Quaglio Simonelli, an association of the two Italian designers Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli, whose studio is located in Paris. They design furniture, furnishings, lighting and technical products, fusing the industrial with the artisanal. They have already received several awards for their designs, such as the Red Dot Design Award or the IF Product Design Award; some of their designs are part of the collection of the National Fund for Contemporary Art in Paris.
