Melampo table lamp with variable shade position - design by Adrien Gardère The Italian producer of high-quality designer luminaires, Artemide, founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and based near Mite, presents a modern and timelessly beautiful accent light source with the Melampo table lamp by designer Adri Gardère. Melampo's frame is made of zinc alloy zamak and aluminium, the shade is made of a silk satin stabilised with plastic and surprises with three different positioning options: Normal position, swivelled by 30 degrees or upside down. Die table lamp is an additional source of light for living rooms and bedrooms, which has a very decorative effect whether switched on or off and can always create different lighting moods thanks to its variability - Awards: Observeur du Design Etoile 2001 A.P.C.I. Paris (France), 2001: Reddot Design Award Essen (Germany) Adri Gardère works worldwide and, in addition to lighting objects and furniture, also creates product designs and designs museums and exhibitions, such as the Musée du Louvre-Lens in France (2012) and the Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo (2010).
