Miconos glass ceiling light made from a harmonious combination of materials and colours


A harmonious mix of steel and glass is combined with a satin brass finish to produce a unique designer light as a ceiling light. Miconos consists of a spherical handblown glass lampshade which has a light bulb socket and an eyelet for hanging the light from the hook on the ceiling canopy. A round ceiling canopy with a short suspension system rounds off the design of this ceiling light.

Miconos was designed by Ernesto Gismondi, the founder of the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide, which is famous throughout the world. This company is primarily distinguished by its own research premises and laboratories, which are constantly keeping an eye on the requirements of people and nature, as well as on the progress in modern lighting technology. In conjunction with traditional manufacturing methods, the result is lights which combine tradition and modernity.
