Glossy Miconos designer light made in Italy


The Miconos designer light is a unique ceiling light which provides brilliant lighting accents with its polished chrome finish. Its round shapes and the details in the suspension system underline the modern appearance and have a harmonious appearance at the same time. The round handblown glass lampshade contains a light bulb socket which allows the light bulb to shine diagonally downwards. If a dimmable light bulb is chosen, the level of brightness can be adjusted accordingly via the house electrical system. The lampshade has an eyelet at the top for hanging the glass sphere from the hook on the short ceiling suspension system.

Ernesto Gismondi is the founder of the Italian lighting company Artemide, which was founded in 1960, and designed the Miconos series of lights. Artemide is known throughout the world and has received many awards. Artemide’s own research facilities and laboratories allow it to research and test lighting technology, socio-cultural requirements and materials so that it can ultimately combine traditional manufacturing methods and modern aspects in all its lights.
