Miconos glass pendant light – made in Italy


The modern Miconos glass pendant light is made of steel and handblown glass. With round shapes from the ceiling canopy to the spherical lampshade, Miconos has a very harmonious appearance and also provides glossy accents due to its chrome finish. There is an unobstructed view of the light bulb. The Miconos series of lights is characterised by a special detail, as the glass lampshade has an eyelet at the top, allowing the lampshade to be hung from a hook on the suspension system.

The Miconos pendant light was designed by Ernesto Gismondi, who founded the lighting company Artemide in Italy in 1960. In addition to the manufacture of lights, Artemide also provides numerous research facilities which research materials, technologies and socio-cultural aspects, in order to provide people with the best possible lighting. Particular value is also attached to traditional manufacturing methods and to environmentally conscious manufacture.
