Glowing stones and indirect general lighting: Skydro LED ceiling light


The individual elements that make up the Skydro LED ceiling light look like glowing stones or silvery drops. These round elements of varying sizes reflect the light emitted by the LED light source in the arm, creating an appealing lighting atmosphere. The indirect light source is located above in the arm. It emits light exclusively upwards and is positioned almost centrally with a slight distance below the stones. The reflection on the silvery surface of the "stones" distributes indirect general lighting throughout the room.

A practical feature is the dimmability of the light. The ceiling light can be dimmed using a push function via a separate switch. However, this requires a five-core connection cable.

The Italian company Artemide is considered one of the world's leading manufacturers of designer lighting. Designer Ross Lovegrove has already designed several series of lights for Artemide, including the Skydro model. The logic and beauty of nature are themes that he likes to portray in his work. That is why Lovegrove uses organic shapes and combines them with innovative technology and the right materials, so that they appear extremely modern yet harmonious.
