Tolomeo LED table lamp - design by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina


The Tolomeo LED table lamp consists of a glossy aluminium arm that can be aligned as you wish and an aluminium lampshade with a matt finish. The light also features a spring balancing system. A so-called presence sensor is also integrated, which means that the light only stays on as long as there is someone in the room.

Tolomeo was designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina. In 1989, they were awarded the Compasso d´Oro for the design of Tolomeo.

Lights produced by the Italian manufacturer Artemide are regarded as icons of contemporary design throughout the world and are on display at MoMA in New York and at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, for example, as well as in many other prestigious exhibitions.
