Tolomeo LED table lamp - Design by Michele De Lucchi & Giancarlo Fassina The Tolomeo LED table lamp consists of a shiny aluminium arm, which can be adjusted as desired, and an aluminium lampshade with a matt finish. The light is also equipped with a spring balancing system. A so-called presence sensor is also integrated, which means that the light only remains switched on as long as someone is in the room. Tolomeo was designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina. They were awarded the Compasso d'Oro for the design of Tolomeo back in 1989. Lights from the Italian manufacturer Artemide are considered Icons of contemporary design worldwide and are on display in the MOMA in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, for example, as well as in many other renowned exhibitions.
