LED pendant light Unterlinden - antique-looking beauty with modern lighting technology The Herzog & de Meuron design team has achieved a symbiosis of an antique look - created by the surface pattern of the lampshade - and the highest technological standards with the Unterlinden pendant light. The lampshade is made of aluminium and directs the light from the built-in COB LEDs directly downwards. Originally designed for museums, the Unterlinden pendant light enhances any ambience with targeted lighting. When switched off, it also acts as a decorative element of the Raumgestalt. Herzog & de Meuron is an architectural firm founded in 1978 by two architects (Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron) in Schweizer. It gained international renown with the conversion of the Tate Gallery of Mod Art in London, the designs for the two stadiums St. Jakob-Park in Basel and the Allianz Arena in Munich, the National Stadium in Peking for the 2008 Olympic Games and the Elbphilharmonie concert hall in Hamburg.


Renowned designers repeatedly work for the Italian light manufacturer Artemide, many of the lights have been honoured with design awards and included in the collections of museums such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Rome - made in Italy
