Vitruvio pendant light with mouth-blown Glas lampshade The Vitruvio pendant light is particularly eye-catching thanks to its unusually designed lampshade. It is transparent and made of mouth-blown Glas. Visually, it is reminiscent of a Kokon or a beehive. Horizontal strips have been embossed into the form, concealing the light source inside and at the same time ensuring glare-free emission and even distribution of the light to its surroundings. Three movable metal struts are inserted into the lampshade for suspension and stabilisation, which are opened by a mechanism inside. This creates a structure that supports the Glaskugel and balances and safely carries its weight. Decorative bulbs with a filament look are particularly suitable for illuminating the hanging light, as the bulb can be seen through the glass lampshade and its special appearance can further enhance the attractiveness of the pendant light. The light can be dimmed using an external leading and trailing edge phase dimmer and a dimmable bulb. The projects of the Atelier Oï designer group are characterised in particular by their sophisticated design and high quality. The issue of sustainability also plays a major role, with sustainable materials and traditional manufacturing processes being given particular consideration.
