Liaison - a special LED pendant by Sara Moroni


Liaison is a redesign of Axolight designed by Sara Moroni - an exercise in the balance of the three geometric types of sphere, circle and cylinder. These three forms unite in a luminaire that becomes a design object in any room. The black metal semi-circle is decorated with the two elements cylinder and sphere in a matt-gold colour. The LED light source is located in the cylinder, the sphere at the top of the semicircle helps to create a static balance.

Sara Moroni is a designer from Milan who works on the design and construction of furniture and lighting, developing special solutions for shops and private spaces. She has developed a range of innovative products for renowned Italian companies and has already worked with various creative agencies in Europe. In 2006 she graduated with distinction from the Politecnico di Milano with a Master in "Product Industrial Design". Her speciality is lighting design.
