For controlling Calex outdoor lights: The Smart Outdoor Link Bluetooth Mesh Gateway With the Smart Outdoor Link Bluetooth Mesh Gateway, outdoor lights from Calex can be integrated for intelligent light control via app. To do this, the gateway is plugged into an indoor socket and connected to the home WLAN. The gateway then sends a Bluetooth signal to the outdoor lights, creating a network, known as a mesh, in which each component also acts as a transmitter. This improves the signal quality and allows longer distances to be bridged to the gateway as long as the components are within range of each other. As soon as the gateway is connected to the Wi-Fi network and the outdoor lights, all devices can be controlled using the free Calex app. The lights can be switched and dimmed and the light colour can be set as desired (range of functions depends on the respective light). As the Calex app is also compatible with the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, control can also be carried out using voice commands. Timers and predefined light scenes can also be set. Technical features / compatibility: - For up to 200 Calex outdoor products (see accessories) - Can be controlled via the Calex app (free for Android and iOS) - For switching, dimming and setting the light colour (depending on the range of functions of the respective light) - Timer and predefined scenes can be set via the app - Voice control possible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri Shortcuts - WiFi 2.4 GHz
