As a uniformly shining sphere, the ceiling luminaire Murea, produced in Germany, has a pleasant and attractive appearance. The glass shade inspired by Japanese lanterns, whose shape lies between the cylinder and the sphere, provides basic lighting with light scattered all around, while the lower round opening - above a table, for example - provides direct light. Depending on the light output of the chosen illuminant, Murea can be used more as a supplementary lighting or as the main light source.
