Charming glass hanging lamp Damasco


The Damasco hanging lamp is a prime example of the artistry of Italian glassmakers. Its shade, which has a beautiful structure, was produced using the so-called Bozzolo process, a manufacturing technique in which individual molten glass threads are joined together to form an organic-looking structure, such as this unique lampshade.

This fantastic light dispenser was designed by Paolo Crepax, a master of glass production. By working together with designers and other artists, Crepax learned to develop his own creations and at the same time to pass on the knowledge of a glassmaker to those people.

The unusual glass structure creates a unique light experience.
