Florence wall light with scavo smoked glass


The Florence two-bulb wall light is a truly beautiful sight: Forged work in the Florentine style can still be admired today in many Italian palaces. The gold leaf does not completely cover the surfaces, which further reinforces the classic-antique effect of the light. Two wonderful lampshades made from scavo smoked glass provide gentle lighting for a pleasant ambience.

Florentine scavo smoked glass has a different base glass to conventional scavo glass. The addition of a drop of brown glass, which is distributed irregularly throughout the glass by means of the centrifugal technique, makes each glass unique. This forms an irregular closed surface. Re-heating makes the glass, such that it is no longer completely round. The glass is also heavier than hand-blown glass.

These beautiful lights, which are handmade in Europe from natural materials, are characterised by a high degree of quality. Small batches lead to individuality, diversity and unique products.
