DALI-dimmable LED outdoor wall lamp Flauta Spiga made of weather-resistant aluminum


LED outdoor wall lamp Flauta Spiga was made of high quality aluminum, which is protected by a chemical conversion process against various weather conditions. The luminaire also has a double powder coating that reinforces this protection and ensures, among other things, that Flauta Spiga is resistant to UV radiation. The diffuser inside is made of transparent glass and closes fittingly with the edge of the housing, so that water deposits are avoided as much as possible.

The wall lamp has a dual light emission, emitting light upwards and towards the ground. With the included reflector, it is possible to change the direction of the emitted light and thus set decorative accents. The reflector can be mounted either on the top or the bottom. Flauta Spiga also has an integrated driver that makes it possible to adjust the brightness using external DALI dimmer.

The design of the wall lamp goes back to the Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola. Her goal with Flauta Spiga was to develop a luminaire that could be used in both private and public spaces. She was inspired by the shapes of flutes and organs. The hallmark of Flauta Spiga is its elegant slanted pattern, reminiscent of the appearance of an ear of grain and a visual feature. Patricia Urquiola has received several awards as designer of the year.
