The Glo-Ball F2 floor lamp – a design classic by Jasper Morrison

When designer lights become classics, it is not necessarily because they are particularly extravagant or eye-catching – on the contrary, the opposite may well be true, as is the case with the Glo-Ball F2 floor lamp. Great importance has been placed here on simplicity and minimalist design, and it consists solely of a spherical glass shade – which appears oval when viewed from the side – and a relatively slender frame with a round base. You can therefore be sure that, even as time goes by, it will remain just as timeless – or rather, just as contemporary – as it is today. Thanks to the white glass lampshade, the designer floor lamp also produces an exceptionally beautiful and cosy glow.
