The design is rather understated and simple, yet the lighting effect is impressive. The small Glo-Ball table lamp from FLOS provides glare-free, soft, all-round lighting. The lamp’s sphere, made of hand-blown opal glass, is reminiscent of the moon in shape and creates atmospheric room lighting. The white glass is complemented by a striking contrast in the form of a simple, rather delicate black frame, on which the sphere appears to float. The base and frame are made of solid, lacquered steel and hold the glass sphere securely in place.

Thanks to the integrated dimmer, which is positioned on the power cable, the brightness of the Glo-Ball table lamp is also adjustable. The design is by the English product and furniture designer Jasper Morrison, who developed this range of lamps in 1998 for the Italian lighting manufacturer FLOS. With its classic design, the Glo-Ball never goes out of fashion, making it a timeless piece of lighting for a wide variety of living spaces.
