Interesting suspension for the IC S1 pendant light from FLOS The fact that a pendant light has a spherical glass lampshade is nothing unusual in itself. But when it is suspended in such an unusual way as with the IC S1 pendant light, the result is a light with that certain something, an unusual luminaire. With the IC S1, designer Michael Anastassiades has created a pendant light that belongs to the IC luminaire family and with which he wants to depict the balancing act he observed in a juggler. Just as the balls glide over the juggler's arms without falling, the glass ball of IC S1 is balanced on a thin brass rod that also serves as a suspension. Michael Anastassiades designed the IC S1 pendant light for FLOS in 2014. The Italian company brings together some of the most renowned designers under its roof. The result is always products that win international design awards.
